An artillery fortress from 1937–38, part of the Czechoslovak border fortification system. With 1 km of underground corridors and a military history museum, it is the largest artillery fort of the Czech border defenses.
The guide's stories about the 1938 mobilisation are deeply moving — these soldiers were ready to fight and never got the chance — so wear sturdy footwear for the outdoor trenches.
